Keycap Buying Guide

SMALL DETAILS. MADE PERSONAL.

Three simple checks for a keyboard that feels like yours.

01Choose your style

ARTISAN · One expressive accent

SET · A coordinated palette

An artisan is a focal point. A set brings the board together. Personalization is available only where the product offers it.

02Fit comes first

Check the mount, key size and physical layout.

Match your switch mount, key size and layout. For a set, compare the included-key diagram with your board. For one artisan, check its intended key position.

An MX-style cross mount does not mean universal fit. Low-profile systems and unusual layouts need explicit support.

03Pick your everyday feel

Simplified side views comparing sculpted and uniform keycap rows.
Profile means the shape and height of the keycap.

Sculpted rows vary in shape. Uniform rows keep a consistent profile. Matching a shape you already enjoy is an easy first step.

PBT often keeps its texture longer. ABS can become polished with use. Material alone does not determine quality; check the finish and legends too.

BEFORE YOU BUY

Confirm fit, included keys, offered custom options and availability. If backlit letters matter, look for an explicit shine-through specification.
